Delhi Airport Line: Reliance needs to be prosecuted!

Reliance Infra should be subjected to all possible penalties for squatting on the Delhi Airport Metro line for so long, when it never intended to serve the public. It has threatened to end its service on June 30, and DMRC is reportedly preparing to take it over. Story here.

Is not the Indian public sector capable of running a railway line, when the fastest train in France, the TGV (seen in picture below in May 2013), is run by publicly owned SNCF?

The UK experience clearly shows that markets can never work with major services, such as banks, railways and posts, and it needs the government’s support to ensure equity
